Senior Laravel Developer
We are looking for a passionate Senior Laravel Developer to join our backend engineering team. You will build scalable web applications, RESTful APIs, and enterprise software solutions for clients across India and globally.
About the Role
As a Senior Laravel Developer at Vewonex Wide Technology, you will be a key technical contributor on our development team. You will architect and build complex web applications for clients across healthcare, education, e-commerce, gaming, and fintech domains. This role requires both strong technical ability and the communication skills to collaborate with clients and project managers. You will mentor junior developers and contribute to our engineering standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable web applications and RESTful APIs using Laravel and PHP. Architect database schemas and optimize query performance for high-traffic applications. Review code, provide technical guidance to junior developers, and maintain engineering standards. Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver projects on time. Integrate third-party services — payment gateways, SMS, email, Google APIs. Participate in agile sprint planning and daily standups. Write clean, well-documented, testable code with appropriate unit and integration tests.
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of professional PHP and Laravel development experience. Strong command of Laravel ecosystem — Eloquent ORM, Queue, Jobs, Events, Blade, Sanctum/Passport. Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices. Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL — query optimization, indexing, transactions. Experience with Redis for caching, sessions, and queue management. Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes. Basic familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms. Good communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
Experience with Vue.js or React.js for full-stack capability. Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments. Experience with WebSocket or real-time features. Previous work in e-commerce, healthcare IT, or gaming platforms. Familiarity with microservices architecture.
